The brief
A neglected back-of-house courtyard turned into a quiet, sculptural room for a family in Battersea.
Owners wanted somewhere to eat with friends, somewhere their kids could land after school, and zero maintenance noise on weekends. Existing slabs were cracked, drainage was failing, the planting was inherited and tired.

In their words
“Jules ran the whole thing. We didn't have to chase a single trade. The garden is the best room in the house now.
